Houseplant Maintenance
There are two main reasons why people have problems with house plants. Light and water. Too much or too little of each can cause problems. Many houseplants are native to the tropics and thrive in bright light. When there is not enough light they tend to decline. Many plants are used to drenching rains and periods of drought. If you keep those type of plants constantly moist, their roots will eventually rot. Before you purchase houseplants, make sure you know the requirements for light and water and choose those with similar needs in order to keep maintaining them easy.
Here are a few plants that are recommended for easy maintenance and greater life expectancy. These will tolerate low to high light conditions and need appropriate amount of water about every ten days.
